Another great weekend of racing is in the books. We had a bit of an unusual start this time as a hot air balloon nearly landed on the track. The racing was intense, with close battles in almost every class and throughout the field in a few of them. As always, photos are provided by Nathan and available here.
2019 Club Race #5
Another exciting weekend of racing is in the books. This race was the first on the newly redesigned layout, which is still technical like the course used for the first few races, but seems to flow a bit better. As always, photos are provided by Nathan and can be found here.
2019 Club Race #4
This last weekend saw another fantastic round of races at the Hank Perry raceway. One thing we really like to see are nice full heats, especially of the novice class, and we had them. These young drivers are the future of the sport, so it’s great to see so many of them turning up for these events. Photos are courtesy of Nathan, and can be found here.
2019 Club Race #3
The third round of club races is in the book. Isaiah stepped up again to act as the Race Director for a second round in a row. Our photographer unfortunately had scheduling conflicts and could only photograph the practice before the actual race, but photos are available here.
2019 Club Race #2
Another race is in the books at the Hank Perry raceway. The track was a bit smoother this time around, thanks to the continued maintenance effort of several club members, most notably Tim Snell. This week also saw a few rare rigs: a pair of Team Associated GT2s—among the last of the 2wd nitros—brought some noise to the usually quiet stadium truck class. Photos are available here, courtesy of Nathan Goulding.
2019 Club Race #1
Barely a week after hosting the NCT round 2, the Hank Perry track was once again alive with the sounds of RC cars this last weekend. With a strong 75 entries, including full classes of both novice and nitro, it was a busy night. Photos are available here.
NCT 2019 Round 2: Hank Perry 240
Despite a downpour interrupting practice on Friday, this year’s Hank Perry 240 had wonderful attendance. This also marked the first race of 1/10 4wd truggies on this track as a class, and they’re really picking up in popularity. Photos of the event are available here, but be warned, there are almost 500 of them to look through.
PRRC 2018 Season Finale race
Many drivers hadn’t quite gotten all the off-road racing in that they wanted by the time the Mapston race was over, so we headed down to the PRRC track in Potlatch for the final race of their inaugural season. Among them, our club photographer, Nathan. Life unfortunately got in his way, delaying the photos until today, but they are here now.
